WHAT HAS CHANGED IN THE LAST 2000 YEARS ??

Once upon a time lived two people on two twin planets, …or was it on the same planet??

The first group of people created their own nation in a bloodbath: the founder Romulus drew a line on the ground , declaring that this side of the line was his territory, and then killed his own brother, as that latter dared cross the line .
The second group of humans also started their own nation with a bloodbath: as those living in the south did not want to accept their ways of living and their ideas and wanted to go their own separate way, they were slaughtered in a war called ‘of secession’ which separated friends and families, produced thousands of casualties and led to the people in the north imposing their own ways to their cousins in the south.

On the first planet, the new nation expanded at the expense of its neighbours, who had to learn to submit to those people based in Rome, as these had a better armament and had soon developed very sophisticated ways of fighting.
On the second planet, the original tribes ,that used to live there for centuries ,were also very soon massacred ,or imprisoned in camps miles away from their native lands, as their skins were slightly more coloured , slightly redder, and their armament was a lot more primitive than that of the newcomers who came from the eastern industrial coast and had developed all kinds of automatic guns , pioneered ways of living in semi-permanent settlements, and were obsessed with ever going further west.

The first nation soon became a state of slave-drivers, as in every area that was conquered , the same events happened: many of the young males were killed first, then most of the young males and females were tied up and taken as free compulsory labour, called slavery, most of their villages destroyed and their crops and other riches plundered , then the new ‘roman peace’ was imposed , together with the roman language, laws, and other infrastructures, like tax-paying, and conscription of future young males into the roman army.
The second nation soon found that there was not enough workers to work their huge plantations and new industries, so they called on other nations to bring their young sons and daughters, to do the dirty jobs first, under the glorious pretext of emigrating to the ‘american dream’; they then took part in the importation of a group of humans , who had a very dark skin, and who were thought of being inferior, as having different beliefs and ways of living; the ‘american way of life’ was imposed to those black people, together with the american religion, ways of living, language etc…

The first group of earthlings went on occupying about half of planet earth around the Mediterranean sea, dominating by military means other populations,considered as inferior beings or barbarians, creating a vast ‘roman empire’, and forcing all their inhabitants into the same religion, language and set of roman values, the idea being that under one ruler, tribes ( or whatever was left of them) would not fight each other again. Their ruler, the roman emperor , was considered as a god, could not make mistakes, and had to be obeyed to the death. No divergence of values was tolerated, and anyone disbelieving in the system was declared an enemy of the roman state and crucified.
The second group of earthlings went on establishing their supremacy by various ways, mostly by imposing a military or economic supremacy onto other populations; but, as their religion had taught them not to kill other humans, they developed a peculiar skill in recruiting other tribes to do the dirty killings for them; their ruler , the president, could not be disobeyed, and whoever was against him, was against god, their banknotes clearly announcing that god was with them .They shared the belief that whoever had not managed to possess a good amount of these banknotes were destined by god to be poor, and had to accept their fate as inferior beings. The american way of life was the best and only one to be accepted , and as one president of theirs soon declared, those who were not with the americans were against them, and the american people had the right to defend themselves, by whatever means necessary…

The first empire went on for several dozens of years, gradually slackening their values as their comfort seemed assured , and their elite soon wallowed in the areas of homosexuality, corruption, greed, waste, and other unhealthy behaviour or belief, like over-eating and drunkenness. One of their leader, Nero, had their national house of parliament burnt down by a bunch of hired thugs, then declared a religious minority to be guilty, and started persecuting that new group of humans who believed in what they called their Christ.
The second empire also lasted for several decades, gradually descending into spheres of corruption, homosexuality, pollution, waste of natural resources, national selfishness, individual and collective waste, and other unhealthy habits of living like obesity, over-drinking, or smoking, etc.. One of their presidents let two tall towers in a big city be destroyed by a bunch of known religious fanatics who had prepared the event for several months, then declared a religious and ethnic minority to be guilty, and started invading several Muslim Arabic countries one after the other, pretending to establish law and order, and imposing the american ‘democracy’ as the only valid political system.

The roman empire disappeared when a rebellious tribe, coming from the east, gave the final blow to that crumbling civilisation, with the obvious deaths, destructions, and upheavals that such a change would bring .That was about 20 centuries ago, on planet earth…
The american empire has started to see the first signs of its economic, political, and military decline, but, like any arrogant holders of power in the human history , its leaders do not want to see the signs on the wall, and refuse to admit that dialogue and compromise are better than confrontation and destruction…. This is now, on the same planet earth…

Terrorism,pollution,starvation,floodings,earthquakes,tsunami,petrol's price sky high,traffic jams everywhere,poisons in all rivers,snow and ice everywhere,murderers behind everyone, extraterrestrial cannibals in all dark corners, polar bears soon extinct,melting icebergs, sealevels that keep raising,asteroids falling everywhere,drugaddicts,madmen,the young people who dont listen to anybody,the old people who dont understand anything,computers that control everything,satellites that spy on us all day long,three-headed monsters,irradiated people, binge drinkers, obese people,coloured people,small sized people,peole with a beard, people wearing sandals in winter... did I forget any ?

and to whom does the crime benefit? What do you think, why are we, the westerners, haarrassed day and night by the medias , tv, radio, papers, magazines, ads, leaflets,... WHERE ARE THE GOOD NEWS ?? WHERE ARE THE REALIST AND OPTIMIST NEWS?

Non, we ,westerners have to be made fearful, made unhappy, so that 'strong ' men can save us... vote for me, I will save you, follow me, paradise is for tomorrow, but before that, we will increase the number of controls, of identity papers,of certificates, of hidden cameras, of security agents...
